Since 2017, First Step Soccer Training has been proud to serve the New Jersey Soccer community. Coach Luis initially founded First Step Soccer Training in the Fall of 2017 as First Step Goalkeeping in which he only trained goalkeepers. Coach Luis grew up playing as a goalkeeper and continues playing as a goalkeeper to this day, which is why he started training goalkeepers initially as that was his background.

In 2019 First Step expanded from First Step Goalkeeping into First Step Soccer Training with the addition of Coach Ronaldo. Therefore training field players as well as goalkeepers. Training players of all ages and levels has always been the First Step way, as helping players get to the next step is our main goal. 

​

At First Step Soccer Training, our main goal is the overall development of the individual player. Building players who can adapt to any play style, and adjust to all game situations. Training not only the technical but the tactical, mental, and physical portions of the game as well. We are the First Step to becoming a pro, because we strive to help player of all levels grow into better versions of themselves.

We then expanded once more with the addition of Coach Kevin, the First ever First Step client. Who is a former Division I soccer player for Saint Peter's University & a current D2 soccer player for Caldwell University.

 

Over the course of a few years, Coach Kevin has helped grow our brand & has been there every step of the way. We have proudly promoted him to the CEO position for First Step Soccer Training. Like Kevin many others took the First Step, Will You?
